Born in the Netherlands in 1979 as Jort Boulonois, The Atelist has been drawing from an early age. Throughout his childhood creating was an important part of his life.
After moving to "the big city" he came into contact with the phenomenon of "graffiti" which has shaped his art since that day.
During his studies as a craft furniture maker, of which technical drawing and design were a large part, he was able to enrich his knowledge of detailing and precision.
All these years The Atelist also known as Atel has been an active artist in addition to his work as a furniture maker, both with graffiti and street art.
However, in recent years he has decided to focus entirely on art in order to be able to share his view on the world with you as an art lover.
